Energizing

Increases the users energy. Energizing is a tier-2 effect that adds +22% of the product's base value to the sell price and contributes 0.340 addictiveness to the customer. Like all effects it stacks with the others already on a product, up to the 8-effect limit, and it can be mixed onto any product in the game.

Which Ingredient Adds It

Exactly one ingredient carries Energizing in the v0.4.7 data:

IngredientPriceUnlocks atValue on OG Kush
Cuke$2Street Rat (tier 0)$43

On a $35 OG Kush bud the ingredient pays for itself as long as Energizing is worth more than its $2 cost — which at +22% of base value it is on every product except the zero-bonus ones.

Transformations

In the full game, mixing can also transform effects — an ingredient added to a product that already carries certain effects replaces or converts them instead of appending. The transformation table is derived from the game's own mix-map data; since that audit is done, our calculator and every recipe on this site use the append-only model, which reproduces all community-verified prices so far (OG Kush base $39, Green Crack + Banana $50). Where Energizing can appear without mixing: it is the initial effect on Green Crack, straight out of the bag.

Price Multiplier

Energizing adds +22% of the base value. Because the bonus scales with the product's base price, the same effect is worth a different dollar amount depending on what you mix it onto:

ProductBase priceSell price with EnergizingValue added
OG Kush$35$43+$8
Meth$70$85+$15
Cocaine$150$183+$33

Full formula: sell price = base × (1 + the sum of every effect's bonus), rounded to the whole dollar — the same math the mixing calculator runs for any ingredient chain.

Products That Want It

Energizing earns its slot in the top-profit recipe for Best Cocaine Mix, Best Weed Mix, Best Granddaddy Purple Mix and Best OG Kush Mix. Its +22% bonus scales with those products' higher base prices, which is exactly why the expensive bases are where tier-2 effects pay off most.
